BIG (Bold Ideas Grow) was created in 2013 as Lisbon BIG Apps, then Vodafone BIG Apps and finally BIG Smart Cities. But in 2019 the world demanded something bigger.
The challenge:
More than innovating, we must put technologic innovation at the service of people, so it can improve their quality of life. There are problems all over the world, inside companies and regarding various areas that affect all of us and demand new solutions.
The solution:
That’s how BIG Impact was born, an international initiative co-built with three promoters – Vodafone, Câmara Municipal de Cascais and Revista Visão – which aimed to impact positively peoples’ lives. Each player identified a problem and challenged the entrepreneur ecosystem, that presented creative technological solutions to solve them.
